…tomorrow’s DAW, today.
AI is eating software is eating the world. Regardless of our personal feelings about the incoming world (I resisted the urge, right there, to say LOOMing…), it’s coming.
Many entrants flank the very fundamental pillar of human civilization. AI-generated music is table stakes as the labs race to find the right musical product for the age of delegation. We are not confident in the short-term obvious strategy of sheer music generation.
The delicateness of this balance is yet to be addressed fully by the market, but we are seeing signs that the problem is on the way to converging towards subsuming the digital audio workstation (DAW). Our pitch deck further shows you how we think the market is trending.
My co-founder and friend, Osarumen Osamuyi (music persona: LMBSKN[link here]), has gone with me on a journey in the past year about the future of technology, and the roles we would like to play in it. Increasingly, we are convinced that domain experience is crucial, more than ever, in an increasingly-abstracted world. It is always my pleasure to introduce Osarumen’s musical depth to a fresh listener, so please have a listen when you have the time [insert link here].
I, on the other hand, bear the singular talent of having been building AI products for the EU market since 2023, and now I constantly get plagued by delusions [link] of [link] foresight [link].
We have psyched ourself enough into believing that theory can only get us so far, and pontificating over long nights about the future can only scratch the infuriating itch.
We require contact with reality to validate our thesis about the future of software, and we are picking a territory we are both organically drawn to and connected in. We are going to require all the support we need, and we are asking you to join us.
Please find attached our deck[insert link here], and we are always happy to get on a call to discuss further.
Thank you.
